Richard Chandler, Immediate Past President and Director

 

 

Rick Chandler is the Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Revenue, a position to which he was appointed by Governor Scott Walker in January of 2011. Prior to his appointment as Secretary of Revenue, he was President of Chandler Consulting, LLC, providing public policy and government relations consulting services to organizations and businesses on state policy issues. Rick previously served as Secretary of Revenue in 2001 and 2002, and was State Budget Director from 1987 to 2001. He currently serves on several MPLF committees and is a member of Downtown Madison, Inc. When asked why he has chosen to serve on the MPLF Board of directors, Rick stated, "Our whole family loves libraries, and I view vibrant and accessible libraries as a key asset for our community."
