Wisconsin Book Festival Gifts to Be Matched Up to $5,000 Through Nov. 5
Beginning now through November 5, Dr. Nancy Pandhi and Dr. Alex Young will generously match every dollar donated to support the Wisconsin Book Festival up to $5,000, Madison Public Library Foundation announced today.
For instance, each gift of $100 will become $200, and so on. When a gift is made, your dollar is doubled and so is its impact. Pandhi recently shared why it's so important to support the festival.
"As people who love books and the discussions they create, we're delighted to support the Wisconsin Book Festival in providing free, year-round events for everyone," she said.
The matching gift comes at the perfect time: on the same day that Madison Public Library Foundation is launching a new Wisconsin Book Festival membership program, which brings exclusive benefits to all who donate $100 or more to the festival. Once the gift is made, the purchaser will be mailed a member pass, with information about additional perks. Gift memberships to honor a loved one are encouraged.
Help us reach our goal of raising $15,000 by the end of the fall festival weekend on November 5. To become a Wisconsin Book Festival member or to make a donation, visit our Donate page.
