Get Ready for Wisconsin Film Festival at the Library

Join Madison Public Library on Saturday, March 18, at Pinney Library for the fifth annual Pinney Mini Film Festival, a special after-hours library event that will screen five short films from last year’s Wisconsin Film Festival.

Films to be shown include: Russian Folk by Director Michael Doubek , with a performance by the White Birch Ensemble; A Grand Walk by Director Sam Wirth; Lakeshore Preserve by Director Austin Moore; IMMOO: 240 Frames Per Second by Director Steve Donovan; and White & Lazy by Director James Runde.

Attendees will have the opportunity to chat with Moore, Donovan and Runde, as well as Wisconsin Film Festival Coordinator Ben Reiser, after the screenings.

Doors open at 6 p.m., with films screening from 6:30-8:30.

There are also two more upcoming Wisconsin Film Festival Sneak Peek events scheduled for March 17 (tonight) at Alicia Ashman Library and Tuesday, March 21, at Central Library. For more information, visit madisonpubliclibrary.org/film-fest.
