Madison Public Library Foundation recently learned that philanthropist John “Jack Lussier, who died in 2018, left a nearly $1 million charitable trust gift to support future library endeavors. The dollars received in 2018 and 2019 will be directed to the foundation’s endowment fund.
Lussier was a big library supporter who wanted to see the library benefit from his gift beyond his lifetime, foundation Executive Director Jenni Jeffress said. Lussier provided a generous gift to Central Library’s capital campaign and was a loyal contributor to the foundation’s annual fund.
