Madison Public Library Foundation hosts two annual fundraising events: Lunch for Libraries in the spring and Ex Libris in the fall.
Lunch for Libraries, which is in its 11th year, features networking, an author talk and a simple but elegant lunch. It will be held Monday, May 16, in person at Monona Terrace Convention Center. The featured speaker is award-winning journalist Guy Raz, host of the podcast How I Built This and author of The New York Times best-selling book by the same name. Lunch for Libraries proceeds support the Wisconsin Book Festival’s free, year-round author programming as well as Madison Public Library youth literacy efforts.
Ex Libris is a celebration of local craft beverages and culinary creations. Our 2022 event is planned for Friday, November 4. Ex Libris proceeds go toward Madison Public Library collections, services and programs. Event details will be available in late August.
