Madison Public Library Foundation hosts two annual fundraising events: Lunch for Libraries in the spring and Ex Libris in the fall.
Lunch for Libraries, which will be in its 12th year in 2023, features networking, an author talk and a simple but elegant lunch. It will be held Monday, April 17, at Monona Terrace Convention Center. The featured speaker is best-selling author Emily St. John Mandel, who will speak about her latest novel, Sea of Tranquility. Lunch for Libraries proceeds support the Wisconsin Book Festival’s free, year-round author programming as well as Madison Public Library youth literacy efforts.
Ex Libris is a celebration of local craft beverages and culinary creations. Our 2022 event took place on November 4, and our 2023 event is scheduled for November 3. Ex Libris proceeds go toward Madison Public Library collections, services and programs.
