Fundraisers
Madison Public Library Foundation hosts two annual fundraising events: Lunch for Libraries in the spring and Ex Libris in the fall.
The 14th annual Lunch for Libraries includes networking, an author talk and a simple but elegant lunch. Lunch for Libraries proceeds support the Wisconsin Book Festival’s free, year-round author programming as well as Madison Public Library youth literacy efforts. The 2025 event date is TBD.
Ex Libris is a celebration of local craft beverages and culinary creations. Our 2024 event, with the theme “Local Flavor,” will take place on November 8. Ex Libris proceeds support Madison Public Library collections, services and programs.
