About Us

About Madison Public
Library Foundation

Since 1993, Madison Public Library Foundation has been committed to developing sustainable and vibrant partnerships between the community and the city’s library system. Our role is to bridge the financial gap between publicly funded library services and all the experiences that library staff want to deliver to the community.

We raise millions of dollars each year for collections, technology, programs, professional development, equity and innovation projects, capital campaigns, endowments and the Wisconsin Book Festival. With the help of our generous donors, we build better libraries every day.
