Support Library Card Signup Month by encouraging someone you know to apply for a card! Tell them to visit Madison Public Library staff at the Madison Night Market at State and Gilman streets from 4–8 p.m. September 8, and at the Forward Madison FC soccer game on September 17.
Those who would like a card can complete an application at these two events, online at madpl.org /library-cards or in person at any of the library’s nine locations.
A free library card provides access to:
- books, magazines, newspapers, CDs and DVDs
- downloadable books and audiobooks
- video streaming
- computers and high-speed Wi-FI
- hundreds of library programs each month
