This spring, the Wisconsin Book Festival’s 25th anniversary season brought powerful stories and ideas to life across Madison. Donors like you made it possible! Two people sit and pose for a photo. The women on the left holds up a book while the man on the right smiles with his hands in his lap.

With your support, the festival welcomed readers of all ages to author talks, panels, and school visits that sparked curiosity, connection, and conversation. From acclaimed voices  like George Saunders, Jane Smiley, and James & Susan Patterson to rising local authors like Susanna Daniel and Ethelene Whitmire, the season reflected the depth and diversity of storytelling in our community.

Because you give, these experiences remain free and accessible, ensuring that everyone in Madison can engage with authors, ideas, and each other.
