A group of eight library staff attended the 2026 Public Library Association Conference (PLA) in Minneapolis, where they enjoyed learning and connection with public library professionals from across the country.
The group represented a wide range of roles across the library, including adult services, youth collections, marketing, and leadership. The group attended keynote sessions featuring national thought leaders like author, activist and lawyer Bryan Stevenson and Pulitzer Prize-winner Colson Whitehead.
They also participated in sessions covering topics like AI in libraries, emerging data trends, policy development, programming ideas, communications strategies, and advocacy work.
