The Wisconsin Book Festival’s celebration weekend is coming up October 15–17! Next weekend, the festival will live stream 16 free programs featuring authors in conversation with other writers and journalists, including several Wisconsin Public Radio personalities.

Authors include Emma Straub, Miles Harvey, Nikki Giovanni, Angie Kim, Kiley Reid, Cherene Sherrard, Jennifer Palmieri, Laila Lalami, André Aciman, Terry Tempest Williams and more. From poetry and essays to fiction and nonfiction, and numerous events featuring BIPOC authors, there’s sure to be an event that interests you!

Sign up for events, which take place virtually via Crowdcast, on the festival website. If you’d like to help keep the festival’s free, year-round event series going, consider making a gift or purchasing a membership. And remember that if you can’t watch next weekend, all festival programs are recorded and available to watch anytime afterward.

The festival, presented by Madison Public Library in partnership with Madison Public Library Foundation, thanks its many sponsors for their support:
